Meet our team -- Beth Ayotte Naumann

Beth is the President/CEO of ServiceMaster by Ayotte. She is a busy mother of 3 beautiful children; Jordyn (12), Justus (10), and Evelyn (4). They often joke that she is the number one Uber driver in our community getting these guys to and from their events. She is an avid reader, loves personal development projects and is passionate about anything outdoors.

We sat down with Beth and asked her a few questions.

What is your role within ServiceMaster by Ayotte?
“I’m fortunate enough to wear every hat as the owner! Most days I’m here for support and to be a cheerleader for our team. I oversee all large loss and the bigger projects. I also oversee financial ..and HR ..and marketing ..and training ..and quality assurance ..

What got you started in this industry?
“I always worked for my dad (Danny Ayotte) after he started the company when I was in college.” Beth graduated from Mankato State University with a degree in Mass Communications, PR, and Marketing.

“After college I began to manage sales and communication for a local computer company. I didn’t LOVE the technology industry. I had to convince myself not to quit. Driving home after a hard day, praying for guidance, a yellow bird hit my windshield. I then understood my path and drove straight to my dad’s office and committed to the yellow vans. I’ve been here full time since 2002.”

Beth bought her first shares of stock within the company in 2006 and took over full ownership in 2014.

What were you most surprised to learn about when starting out in this industry?
“The ever-changing technology! There is a lot of math and science behind what we do. Technology is what drives this industry just as much as any other.”

We asked her to elaborate a bit and not to get too technical but she’s talking about Nanotechnology. This is on the cutting edge for odor control. ServiceMaster uses it for fire mitigation.

What is your favorite part of the job?
“The constant change, everyday I’m kept on my toes.”

Emergency doesn’t phase Beth – she responds well under pressure. She can speak in front of 250 people or respond to a devastating house fire without missing a beat. Providing information and comfort energizes her. She uses that skill to provide service to others. She loves supporting her staff and her customers.

What is one thing nobody knows about you?
I’m training to become a meditation teacher!
